Vietnamese President Presents $100,000 Donation to King Norodom Sihamoni

PHNOM PENH: The President of Vietnam, Nguyễn Xuân Phúc, paid a courtesy visit to King Norodom Sihamoni at the Royal Palace on Tuesday morning, where he presented the King with a donation of 100,000 US dollars.

The Vietnamese President made this generous donation to support the King’s noble humanitarian mission to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in Cambodia.

President Nguyễn Xuân Phúc began his two-day official state visit of the Kingdom of Cambodia on Tuesday, where he met with Senate President, Say Chhum, President of the National Assembly, Heng Samrin, and Prime Minister Hun Sen. The Vietnamese President also signed a number of important bilateral documents on Tuesday afternoon.
